The Integration of Robotics Training and Projects
Deep Zoo provides Robotics training to teens and young adults (adult retraining programs are planned for Q4).
Training is based upon nearly a decade of Deep Zoo founder experience in Robotics.
Members begin with core Robotics training designed specifically for the novice. More advanced members, simply skip ahead. Our training method incorporates self guided study, hands on exercises (in-person and remote), practical application and GitHub project assignments.
As they progress, members gain the skills necessary to join Deep Zoo directed Robotics projects.
Deep Zoo Robotics training is geared toward member participation in project buildout through deployment.
As the number of Robotics projects grows, members will be able to mix and match the skills they obtain from the Deep Zoo Robotics training.
As a technology cooperative, Deep Zoo also provides members an opportunity to participate in Robotics projects contracted with Deep Zoo.
Here’s a rundown of the Deep Zoo Robotics training and projects . . .
We assume nothing. Our Robotics training is a comprehensive walk through AI. It’s designed to take a complete novice from absolutely zero understanding to experienced Robotics project contributor.
Members learn all about AI. They’re provided with a thorough understanding of the origins of Robotics and the challenges Robotics helps overcome.
Next, they’re lead into the current state of Robotics across multiple disciplines, initiatives and industries.
No introduction would be complete without establishing a pathway for the member to participate and thrive in this exciting, expansive technology sector.
Members are provided with even more than that, much more!
The Deep Zoo Intro To Robotics concludes with a variable pathway, a step-by-step guide for members to follow.
Following just one pathway virtually ensures the member’s commercializable skill set future proofing.
The training is derived from nearly a decade of work with teenagers, young adults and education professionals.
Our Robotics training leaves no stone unturned.
Deep Zoo members learn Robotics through a combination of instruction lead training, self-guided study, hands on application and Deep Zoo assignments.
Our training methods are guided by the philosophy that it’s in the best interest of the member to “learn to fish”, rather than being given the “fish”.
To that end, members are expected to apply what they’ve learned from in-person instruction, video instruction and supplemental materials.
Our training is designed to be self-guided and self-paced.
Recognizing that each member learns differently and at their own pace, our training is composed of a variety of multimedia channels, accessible through the web without the requirement for in-person instruction, though the in-person experience significantly accelerates and amplifies the process.
Our team works collaboratively with members in-person and through remote access.
To gain the most from the Robotics training, an in-person commitment is strongly suggested for each member. Nothing compares to the accelerated results only possible through in-person collaboration.
Remote training is designed to primarily supplement the in-person experience, particularly as members work through the materials, instruction, assignments and projects.
Each member’s account is fully accessible online.
Instruction includes Robotics assignments. These assignments range from individual assignments, to team assignments to project based assignments.
Members are encouraged to explore help from other members, instructors and project leaders.
Assignments are used to judge a member’s skill set, commitment and understanding.
As members move through the Robotics training, they’re invited, encouraged and frankly, expected to participate in Deep Zoo Robotics projects.
The more proficient the member is within their Robotics skillset, the wider the project opportunity network becomes.
No training is complete without a skills and knowledge assessment.
Part of each members Robotics training is a pre-certification assessment.
The assessment covers the entire Robotics training spectrum.
Following each assessment, each member most complete a final evaluation.
Robotics Certification is issued based upon the member’s assessment, final evaluation and project repository.
Upon Robotics training completion and certification each member receives a GitHub repository review and recommendation.
The member’s AI Certificate is added to the Deep Zoo GitHub stack and posted on the Deep Zoo Certified member site.
Upon certification each member is formally recognized throughout the DeepZoo social network.
Following certification each member will be included as a part of a Deep Zoo eMagazine issue.
Upon certification, each member shall be included in the DeepZoo Project Board, a participation outlet for Deep Zoo internal and externally based Robotics projects.
Following certification, members can expect opportunities to participate in paid, community based and volunteer Robotics projects through inclusion in the Deep Zoo Project Board.
Upon satisfactory completion of contribution to a minimum of three Deep Zoo Robotics projects, the member satisfies the experience prerequisite necessary to apply for their own Robotics project.
